Forum Introduction

In the current critical period of deep adjustment of the global economic structure and steady progress of high-quality development of the domestic economy, the plastics industry is facing unprecedented opportunities and challenges. With the vigorous development of downstream key emerging industries such as new energy, high-speed rail, aerospace, military industry, electronics, optics, integrated circuits, 5G communications, green packaging, building materials, medical care, home appliances, and agricultural materials, higher requirements are put forward for the performance, quality and innovative application of plastic materials. In order to better adapt to this situation, we will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, accurately connect the needs of upstream and downstream key emerging industries for plastic materials and related products, promote the innovative development and transformation and upgrading of the plastics industry, and jointly explore new paths for industry development.
